BOSE ACOUSTIMaSS 10 SERIES II HOME THEATER SYSTEM/ OR BOSE CINEMATE?

BOSE ACOUSTIMASS system from the year 2001 with yamaha AV receiver HTR-5250,for $300. OR A(lot) newer Bose cinemate system for $350? please Help!!!!!! Need to hook-up to newer LG 42inch plasma T.v. and xbox 360. I’m worried of possible complications with the older system(and possibly sound). Plus how friendly the system would hook up to my t.v. and 360. I used to have a 3.2.1. system that was amazing and easy to use/hook-up. I know the cinemate uses the same speaker set-up as the 3.2.1. but am I passing up a good deal with the acoustimass system? Which would you decide if you were in my shoes? also compare systems,etc. Thank you!
